Hi everyone, I've read some pretty interesting things on here & decided to make an account and share what I'm going through and would love some insight/advice. I'm not sure if I have Crohn's Disease or not. I've had severe constipation for the past 5-6 years, I've never brought it up to my doctor until maybe a month ago. I know the online symptom checker isn't a diagnosis but when I enter in my symptoms the things that pop upside Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. I've researched the two and all of my symptoms match up with what I'm reading besides having diarrhea. I know conditions/diseases come in many different forms for each person and bloody diarrhea is one of the common symptoms of these IBD but I've also a few forums from some people stating that they have been diagnosed with CD or UC and have no diarrhea. My doctor is concerned because I'm not gaining weight like I should and have had Iron Deficiency Anemia for months now. He tells me I'm not eating enough which I'm aware of but I can't seem to eat much, my appetite has gotten small and I continue to lose weight or stay around the same unhealthy weight. I am 19 yrs old, 5'2 & 92lbs. My stomach pains are more persistent and painful. Constipation has been a big issue for me and feel as if I'm going to pass out during every bowel movement and it sometimes has blood. I have 2, maybe 3 bowel movements per month. The stomach pain, bloating, constipation, being underweight is concerning me. My doctor isn't listening to me and I'm not sure what to do at this point. I have an upcoming ultrasound, if nothing is found idk what's next. I'm truly convinced that something is not right with my stomach. I understand that getting a diagnosis takes a long time but I feel like my doctor isn't putting the pieces together. I strongly believe I may have IBD and would like to bring that up to my doctor but I don't know how. I may be wrong but it won't hurt to talk to him about it, I might be right idk but I just need answers.
