Hello.
I'm unable to offer advice but wanted to say I've been through similar. I was due to have surgery for reversal of an ostomy and a couple of weeks prior I noticed I had a swelling which was quite painful in my groin. I, like you, didn't feel unwell, hadn't had any colds/infections, but thought best to mention it at my pre op appointment. My surgery was postponed and I had to have a biopsy of the node taken. Nothing sinister presented, just confirmation my lymph node was inflamed. Over a few weeks it went down of it's own accord (no antibiotics) and my surgery took place a month later.
In the past I too have had Remicade so appreciate the importance of sticking to the schedule on infusions. I'm sorry not to be able to help with when they will allow the infusions to commence again, perhaps if the blood work comes back clear you'll be good to go? I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone with experiencing the strange ups and downs that we come across.
Fingers crossed the next infusion will go as planned for you.
Debbie
