Crohns and hysterectomy

I have mild-moderate crohns, I am on pentasa and entocort for treatment. I have had severe menstrual cramps and heavy bleeding for over three years. I had a uterine ablation done a year and a half ago and still have severe cramps and now bleeding every two weeks. I have talked to my OB doc and we have discussed hysterectomy (taking only the uterus), but I am not sure if this is the answer. Birth control pills make me sick, my body rejected the IUD, so I am not sure what else to do. Before being diagnosed with Crohns I would take advil every day, but now I can't and Tylenol doesn't help me. I tried talking to my GI doc and he just said that a hysterectomy has nothing to do with my crohns, didn't really want to talk to me about it. So any insight would help. Thanks. PS I have twins and another child, and a tubal ligation was performed after my last C-section.
