I woke up several times during the night with belly pain and having to go to the bathroom a lot. When i got up this morning i was very nauseous and had to take a zofran. Now my hemmies are large. One about
the size of a grape. Doesnt hurt too bad yet. However my lower abdomen is really hurting then i get strong cramps. I had to crawl back in bed with a heating pad. I cant take anything for pain cause i gotta take my boys to their baseball games in a couple of hours. Ugh my nausea is back. I hate having crohns.

I really think i need to see a gi dr but mine is on maternity leave and there is no one to cover her patients. Im now taking 6 capfuls a day of miralax to see if constipation might be whats causing my belly pain. Even tho i was having daily soft bms but straining. Now when i have a bm, sorry but this will be a tmi, its like my rectom comes out about
2 inches but then it goes back in. Then when im all done my hemmrhoids are very inlarged for about
an hour. They get smaller but never go away. The hemmrhoids are bothersome but tollerable. What should i do? Has anyone else ever had this problem?

Don't strain! If the pain is bad enough, you need an ER. The fact she is on maternity leave with no one to cover patients is BS and you should find a new GI or a new practice entirely.

well the miralax has finally kicked in. Its now extremely loose so now i dont have to strain. But isnt watery poo bad for the hemmrhoids too. I now have this place right near my anus that looks and hurts like a pimple. Could it be the beginning of an absess or fistula. Ive never had a fistula and ive had an abscessed hemmie once that required surgery.

Hi Bucko,
I would definitely have that checked out because that was how my fistula appeared at first. I have similar issues with constipation and mirilax making things go too far the other way. Personally I have been able to correct it with soluble fiber supliments once or twice a day and prune juice with every meal. It doesn't work for everyone but if you haven't tried it I find it a lot easier than mirilax.
