This post is not a complaint. I know these are security measures. I had sudocream with when I traveled from my country as it soothes fistula irritation. I had it in a plastic bag in my carry-on and no one objected to that in my country's airport. It seems I forgot it there. I also purchased anusol hc from UK and put it in my carry-on, too. I didn't know it was a problem to have meds with. When I was traveling back home the day before yesterday from Heathrow, I was stopped. They wanted to take the meds I had in my bag (which were in a plastic bag btw) and the creams in my carry-on. Only when I showed them a medical report from my GI explaining my condition did they return back the meds and the creams but insisted that the sudocream was 140 ml which exceeded the 100 ml allowance so I left it.I'm posting to let others know these rules as noone ever informed me of this.
