By flare I mean active inflammation. The symptoms will vary widely from person to person partly influenced by where the inflammation is located but it can be any thing from no symptoms to GI symptoms, nausea weight loss fever etc. the problem is either way symptoms or not if you have inflammation, damage is being done. It is unfortunately scary since last time I thought I was doing really well, totally regular and healthy BMs but the inflammation was higher up in my small bowel and quietly doing damage so I only found out when I ended up with the blockage. The symptoms you are having may be an indication of a flare for you. It's a tricky disease in that you have to be a bit over reactive and keep track of all pains
