C diff

I went to the hospital for 6 days with severe crohns flare. While in there I got C diff I am now on Vancomycin Hydrochloride and my stomach is killing me. I'm very fatigued anyone else experience this?

I feel your pain! I've had c. diff. eight times. Ask to take a probiotic along with it. Once you get out, get Florastor - it's pricey, but it's the most effective against c. diff. because it's yeast based.

I didn't have side effects from Vancomycin, but the c.diff itself caused a lot of fatigue for me. Hopefully you start to feel better soon. Is it stomach aches or bowel pain you are feeling?
