Anal Abscess Ichthammol Ointment

Hey guys. I've had Crohn's disease (diagnosed) for the past 7 years and this is the first time I believe I have an anal abscess. I am definitely going to see a doctor for it, but my dad had one before and is telling me to use this ichthammol ointment from cvs. Has anyone else has any success draining or popping an abscess with this stuff? Or if you could give me any other advice to relieve this it's getting so bad I can barely walk.

I get it!!

In a plastic container mix:

2 tsp tumeric powder
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp coconut oil
15 drops of tea tree oil (I've used wild oregano oil)

After a sitz bath, dry off thoroughly. Use old undies and wear a pad. Then put a little (1/2 tsp) of the poultice on a make up round and place on abscess. It may burn. Do this 3 times a day and before bed. I always place an old towel under me when sleeping.
