So my colonoscopy reports came with normal findings.I am now thinking that my pain/disease most probably coming from small intestine and/or stomach.

How effective is small bowel follow through test compared to CT enterography or MRI enterography test in diagnosing stricture, fistula, ulcer,tumor or even crohn's disease in small intestine?

Or do I just go for CT or MRI enterography?Because those are much more comprehensive test than small bowel follow through test for diagnosing disease in small bowel.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with diagnosis- it can be a long, frustrating process. In my experience, the best thing to do is find a good doctor and stick with what they recommend. No one test works for everybody, there are many ways to access all the illnesses you mentioned. Creating and maintaining a good doctor team is critical to diagnosis and treatment.

I had a capsule endoscopy last month and it did a good job of accessing the small bowel for me and my disease process. I think the CT is the best place to start.

Thank you for the reply.Yes the doctor I was seeing just told me to relax and gave me some medicine and told me no more tests for me though I have the pain which only increased over the last two years and is concentrated in an area of abdomen(right upper quadrant).So i am visiting another doctor to see if i can convince him to give me CT entergraphy test/MRI test/SBFT and other tests that are relevant.wish me luck.
