Bucko, the arthritis from Crohn's has been a major problem for me the past 15 years, though going on sulfasalazine has helped a lot the last few years. But I've recently been having worsening hip joint pain that wakes me in the night. I have had bone spurs in the wrist before but I wouldn't have thought of having spurs in the hip joints if you hadn't mentioned it. Wow. I feel for you.

As to your undissolved sutures, are they external? I've had my surgeon just clip them when they didn't fall out on their own. I once found out I still had a couple hanging around after 20+ years had passed (hysterectomy) which surprised a nurse practitioner. They apparently weren't the dissolving type.

I'm sorry I haven't answered before now. I've been offline. The bone spurs I had dissolved on their own over time. I have no Idea why, but I do remember someone else telling me that theirs in their knees had done the same thing.
