What I found interesting is that if you need surgery on your stomach, sometimes they will take out your appendix as well (thats what I read on this forum)... Why?

So today I've been experiencing mild symptoms pain on lower right side and not full bm's. More spread out throughout the day.

I don't have a fever and no nausea and a good appetite.

stomach? do you mean intestines? sometimes they do it precautionary or if they see inflammation there. from what I've heard though it is unlikely to get appendicitis if you are on biologics so its more likely a mild flare ( or could it be gas pains? Ive had some pretty wretched gas pains in that area that lasted quite a while and had me thinking I was getting sick)

appendicitis is more upper right quadrant and can radiate to the back and middle abdomen. There is generally no question with an appendicitis.... it hurts. Bad. it is often removed during surgeries to eliminate this exact question later.

I had appendicitis in August and it is actually pain in the lower right. It was very painful to touch and with any type of movement. I had a mild fever of 99.8 and no nausea. It was mostly just bad pain I had. I knew something was wrong because it didn't feel like my usual crohns pain. If the pain you're having is something you don't usually have, I would get it checked out.

@surfer,Hope you are feeling better. Im curious were you on biologics when you got it?
