Right now it doesn't seem that you have a difinitive diagnosis. Your doctors are only suggesting that you might have Crohn's or Colitis?
Can you relate what other symtpoms you've been having and for how long? Did you have a full blood screening?
If your biopsies are positive for Crohn's, then you'll need a treatment plan, and a suitable medication to control the disease. Treatment and medications have come a long way over the last 10-20yrs. If you stay on top of your symptoms, and respond well to the right meds, then you have a very good chance of continuing to live a normal life.
Diagnosis is a scary thing for everyone, so try to understand that things will get better. Hope you're feeling better soon.
dear 73monte
thanks for replying me... that was all they found in my biopsy, untill now i didn't see my doctor , he is in vacation and i can see him next week.
according to your text how i'm able to find out my biopsies are positive for Crohn's? the diagnosis was only " 1.bengin reactive lymphoid follicle hyperplasia(peyer's patch) with no other significant pathologic change/ 2.no granuloma seen"
i'm really worry about
crohn's and cancer ... i have never seen blood on my stool. just becouse of Bloating and a little diarrhea i went to doctor, and after that docotor took blood test and it showed my calprotein is high (the max number should be 200, mine was 1258) , then he said maybe you have colit or crohn. after endoscopy & colonoscopy i didn't see my doctor yet.
but being worry is always with me , i'm scaring from cancer...
