Were in your colon is/was the inflammation located? Was it continuous, starting in the rectum? Or was it patchy? When you tried Apriso and Canasa, did you find they helped? They're much more likely to help if you have UC, and much less likely to help if it's Crohn's.
It's not terribly uncommon for the biopsies and pattern of the inflammation to lead to a diagnosis of 'indeterminate colitis.' It happens fairly often, something like 10% of people with colitis if I remember right (don't quote me on that!
). Sometimes it becomes more obvious over time that it is or isn't Crohn's. But sometimes it stays 'indeterminate' indefinitely.
