Ha, I see you have as much faith in the future as I do.

I wish him well, but I think the risks of making your own meds are too high to be acceptable. That said, the EpiPencil looks as though it might work - you're not making the actual epinephrine, just the auto-injector which injects it. Luckily I still live in a civilised country (for the moment), so I don't need to consider doing anything like that.

yeah, its more interesting from the scifi side of it. Safety wise- you would need to be pretty close to death to risk making your own meds. I'm pretty moderate/ middle of the road and I haven't been happy with any proposals regarding healthcare. It's uncertain times regarding healthcare for those with preexisting conditions. I am fairly happy with my insurance right now but my payments and deductible will soon be through the roof next year and i suspect they will no longer cover my doctors. I'll make life work some how but it makes me see things like this and really wish I could produce my own remi.
