I have not used the bathroom in 3 days. I am suppose to be going every day. I have been taking 2 colace and milk of magnesia.. I am still not going.
Should I be worried?
How long should I wait until I call my doctor?

Is constipation something you normally have issues with? In order for stool softners to be effective you really need to drink a lot of water. Are you having any cramping, are you able to eat? The very few times I have had constipation, I could not eat hardly anything & had cramps.
Since the weekend is looming, if you feel you need to contact your dr only you can be the judge of that. If you decide to call, I would suggest speaking with the nurse that way she/he can relay to the dr what is going on & get back with you.
Take care.

Constipation I normally do not have.. we are worried because I have many fissures so we want no hard stool to pass and rip me. I am drinking a lot of water and can only eat 2 small meals, no snacks. I am going to be 3 cap full of a miri-lax a day, until Sunday because I do not have school until Tuesday..

I wouldn't get too worried yet. Three days is about
the max you want to go, (or not go in this case). It could be that you just haven't been eating very much. Keep with liquids. Hot drinks are good, and if you can tolerate it, strong coffee. Caffeine will likely get things moving.

YES! I had the LARGEST bowel movement ever, soft, but large. So I think I ripped my fissure
open
My butt is in so much pain... I had a bit of dark blood, but it was very little, almost non noticeable if I did not look..

you might want to try adding some prune juice to your diet. During my last flare I had terrible trouble with constipation. It was always soft and was probably related to the stricture and/or inflammation I had. I would have about
6 to 8 oz of it with dinner and it was just enough to prevent a problem.

Good news MB...
Dark blood would likely indicate old blood, so that's no a big concern. Only bright red would mean fresh bleeding. Hope you're feeling better.

I don't think that it being dark is a good indicator one way or the other. You would need more info. I'd agree with your parents and doctor- they don't like it becausedarker does mean it is older which is usually a sign it came it from farther up in the GI tract. If it's just a bit on the outside of the stool it's less concerning and more likely it came from lower down but that is something your doctor would have to determine. How are the new meds working?
