How to deal with flatulence related to Crohn's?

I probably have flatulence caused by SIBO (small intestine bacteria overgrowth), which in turn is caused by strictures in my small bowel. Is there a good option to treat this unpleasant condition other than small bowel resection surgery? Have anyone tried probiotics to treat this with success? Thanks

Just a thought, have you tried any of the OTC products, such as GasX? A lot of use various OTC stuff to help with this.

No, I have not tried GasX? Does it have any side effect? I tried some probiotics, which may or may not be helpful. I do not remember.

Even before I had Crohn's Disease, I had experienced quite a bit of gases. For the past 5 years or so, it is getting pretty bad.

I would talk to a pharmacist & get his/her input. Some people just have gas whether they have IBDs or not. Certainly worth giving it shot, very common situation.

my wife says i could go into the paint removal business or power a light plant . i have a micro cassette recording of my gas i played for my GI dr once. unedited went for more than 1 min + ! she recorded it for her phone. ;o)
