Seeing CRS on 3/12

I finally got a call from my GI about the fistulagram I had in January and he is sending me to my CRS for a consult. I'm more than a little nervous about this visit. The test results are calling it an ano-rectal vaginal fistula, and it sounds pretty complicated as fistulas go. I just have this gut feeling he is going recommend an ostomy due to all the issues I've had with rectal scarring and the sphincter being "fried" (his words not mine). I just know I can't put off treatment of this thing any longer as it's extremely active now and makes daily life miserable.

Lamb, I hope all goes well with your appt. I completely understand the being nervous thing, any time surgery may be on the table it is beyond nerve wracking. Try to take things a day at a time that is all you can do.
