Hello & welcome to the forum. Sorry to read about your daughter's diagnosis. You will find that the vast majority of us here are on medication for treatment. Some may incorporate a diet along with their medications & also stick with food that does not irritate things. I am going to guess your daughter has a very mild case of crohns since she seems to be doing well with diet & supplements. Some people are able to do this until the bottom falls out. Keep in mind, crohns is like a silent disease that can creep up & as another member recently said, its sneaky. You think things are ok until it knocks you down. I am not sure how well versed you or your daughter are about crohns disease, but I urge you to check out CCFA.org & read about crohns disease. This is the most reputable site on the net. Also, keep in mind when surfing the internet, yes, you will find all sorts of diets & fad diets with claims from people stating how they have never needed medication. A majority of these people are promoting the diet for someone else.
As far as a colonic probiotic, I am assuming you are talking about probiotics. These can be bought over the counter or by prescription from her dr.. Also, if you will, you can use our search feature above & type in crohns disease & probiotics & read older threads about probiotics. If you want to read about diets do the same thing. I would not post on those older threads because there is a good chance the member is no longer active here at Healing Well.
Take care.
