Swollen lymph nodes are a good reason to have a doctor look into it. It could be nothing serious, Lymph nodes can swell when we're ill/sick, due to allergic reactions, and a number of things. There's the remote possibility it could be a rare side effect of lymphoma (0.06% odds). While on remicade, my doctors always briefly check my lymph nodes to make sure there is no swelling. A gasteroenterologist would know more about it, but a family doctor or most nurses could check as well. Even if it was that, the majority can get it treated and put that into a remission. There's been a few cases of people getting lymphoma while on immunomodulators on the UC forum, they all got it into a remission.
Get it checked out asap. Best to let the pros look at it, and have them eliminate serious things. Best to check and not have it, then to pooh pooh it and not get it looked at.
The one that I know is a lymph node has been there for at least a year. If I had just one swollen lymph node is that even a concern to be lymphoma if its in the neck?
