hi , I did BETA -2- MICROGLOBULIN test for my son and it was 2 and last year was 1 any idea about that , he is taking imuran 150 mg and 2 still in the normal range but want to know is that mean it will increase more with time

Why was this test ordered? It's generally used to track certain cancers. Are they testing it because your son is on imuran and they or you are concerned about cancer? It's not a normal test to be run for somebody on imuran.
