I know I see a lot of people post from time to time what type of cream or ointment works best for pain/irritation after wiping. I myself have asked that. For the past couple years I have been using calmoseptine, but a couple weeks ago an ad popped up on my facebook page for a handheld battery powered bidet. I always thought about putting a regular one on my toilet but always resisted. I bought one of these from www.theecojet.com and since most of the crap I buy does not live up to expectations I was not expecting this to be effective, but I was wrong and I am going to buy another one to keep in each bathroom. Once you figure out the best way to use it, it is like a medical device for me. Its not cheap but worth every penny to me and you can travel with it. You only need to pat dry afterwords. The savings in toilet paper alone pays for it
