I' m a college teacher and since the lockdown, my workload from home has increased immensly. I keep working for hours non-stop. Working from home is very hectic. At the beginning, my fistula started to hurt. Definitely, because of sitting for hours. Now, every week, I get a mini-flare up for 3 - 4 days. I had an accident yesterday and a diarrheal bout. I try my best to keep this mini-flare up at bay but I'm reallly worried. I don't want to relapse.
I don't know whether stopping Imuran was a right decision or not. At the onset of the outbreak of Coronavirus, my GI decided to stop it. I'm on a tapered dose of budesonide (3mg) and Remicade. But it seems that this is not enough with all this stress around: stress of getting Corona and stress of the endless hours of work.
What else should I add to my meds? Should I see my GI?
