Would you trade pain for diarrhea? I know that if I have diarrhea or pass a lot of gas, then things get moving, that means I usually do not have abdominal pain after diarrhea. How do I get diarrhea? Every time I eat oatmeal breakfast in the morning, then I will almost end up with diarrhea in the afternoon. I am just worried about
frequent diarrhea is not good for me.
I am having pain in my abdominal, above my belly button. I cannot tell exactly where it is. It looks like gas pain, but I am not sure. Sometimes when I lie down, it gets better. Sometimes when I sit up and press it, the pain changes. I have strictures, but I am not taking any pain killer. I am supposed to have MRE and colonoscopy checkup, but I am delaying those diagnostics due to fear of catching Covid. I have not seen a doctor for a year. I only accompanied my kid to see his pediatrician because he coughed for so long. Covid is still high in my area.
I can go several days without BM, but my stool is rarely hard. But I remember my GI told me "slow transit in my bowel" meaning foods are moving slowly due to strictures. I was seriously thinking about
bowel resection surgery in the late summer/early Fall of 2019 due to pain. But my pain improved a lot afterwards for an extended period of time. Now it comes back again. Thanks for listening.
Edit: there is a chance my pain was caused by eating
watercress tonight. It was "tough" to chew.
