Symptoms have returned

A couple of weeks ago I had to deal with inflammation in my eye and throat. Yes crohns symptoms have returned. I was put on prednisone and clyndamycin. Now I'm having to deal with severe urgency to poop maroon colored 10 times a day. Major abdominal cramps. Even if I think of eating I have nausea and cramping. The abdominal pains just get worse with each passing day. Im also dealing with major rectal pain and burning. I spoke to my GI Dr and she has ordered bloodwork and moved my appt up to December 2nd. I'm also scheduled for a colonoscopy and endoscopy December 9th. One thing that the Dr is also concerned about is everytime I eat it seems to trigger a cough. To like I feel like I'm choking. Not sure what's going on with that. My belly pains keep getting worse. At times I think about going to the hospital just because the pain is so bad. I hate being sick with this disease near the holidays.

Sorry to hear of your recent struggles. Looks like a change in treatment plan will be in order. Have you been on several anti-TNF's at this point? Hope you get things under control after your GI gets a look at things.
