Bruising

Does anyone suffer from bruising? Lately, I started to have a lot pf bruises all over my body. Is it mesalamine related? Almost 2 weeks ago, I was prescribed mesalamine enema 4g every other day. Could it be the cause of bruising?

Enemas are topical & not systemic. The only time I ever had bruising was with low iron levels. Check with your dr & see what he/she thinks about this.

Minnie,

I don't know if you are any supplements but when I started taking turmeric I started bruising alot easier.

You might want to check all your meds and see if they could be contributing.

Thank you so much, Clo. Well, actually, it turned out that the long-term use of steroids causes this bruising issue.
