Any crohns related lasting effects after having Covid?

On day 8 out from positive Covid test. Luckily no breathing issues, but very sick with about every other symptom. Hoping my body bounces back with no lasting problems. Right now I feel like my insides are a little tender, fragile, and unpredictable. And I have for now no sense of smell. At 71 years old, Grateful to be over the worst of it.

I haven't had COVID do unable to help with that....

Can only give a general assessment. For most that I've heard from that had various Covid strains. Haven't heard of any serious Crohn's related after effects. Most seem to weather it Crohn's wise to my understanding.

I wouldn't even know if I had Covid as the symptoms are a lot like that of Crohn's and I smoked for 30 years so I wouldn't attribute any shortness of breath to smoking.
