Lol...Dang Randy.... you are a stone making machine! It's a wonder you didn't rattle when you walked with that many stones. Can you feel them developing,? Can you take Potassium Citrate or anything else that might help not develop them? Did they test to see what type of stones they were?
My first stone was 7 or 9. I had laser surgery for that one. No testing was done.
Then less than a year later I developed 1 or 2 new ones. The CT after first and only (so far) stone removal surgery showed a 3.2 mm gray area still remaining... but the Urologist said it was a glitch... he hadn't left anything behind. ๐๐ Then I started feeling like a UTI was developing and my urogynecologist (does not do stones only infections) sent me in for another CT just in case. There they were.... I swear they were winking and smiling at me in the CT. A couple of squatters.
My stone saga was a๐ฅdump. A hot ๐ฅ๐ฅ hot mess.
Urogynecologist said she couldn't help with stones...said to call regular urologist. Stone urologist could not or would not get me in for weeks, (plus he said at 3.2 or 3.3 I'd pass those and shouldn't need anything to help me). If it got bad to go to ER...and other new urologists could not get me in for a few weeks to a month. My PCP said he'd help so..he and I decided on Moonstone Stone stopper after someone on here (UC side) mentioned it. I did that with a daily shot of apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and olive oil. Im pretty sure I passed one stone...(I could not find it in the toilet) so PCP decided to have imaging done to check...new imaging showed 0 stones. I'm taking the stone stopper as preventative now but we will probably switch me over to potassium citrate pills. Insurance will pay for potassium Citrate.. but not a "supplement" like stone stopper. ๐ก๐ก
I wonder if the Stone stopper would be something you could take? With that many stones and your heart going crazy during surgery you would think they'd be looking at preventative steps to take... but with the TPN.... I just don't know.
I'm sorry you are going thru this Randy. Crohn's disease impacts so many things and people outside this site just seem clueless until it happens to them.
What's the game plan for the rest of the stones?
