thank goodness for english muffins

Hi all,


I have been having cravings for english muffins since my recent surgery. I only eat Kavanah's english muffins which are manufactured in Rhode Island, you can find them at local markets, local cumberland farms (thats a convenience store in new england the store brand is kavanahs just in a diff package with the stores name on it). I use to eat Thomas' for a while when I was younger then deceided 1 day that they tasted like vinegar and no longer would eat the. My folks at the time thought I was imagining it until they read the ingredients list and found vinegar as an ingredient.



It seems when my belly is upset after having a BM if I toast up an english muffin and put I cant believe its not butter light it helps to calm it down. Not sure if it is the baking soda in them or what but so far so good. I wish I could have P butter on them but last year I was diagnosed with peannut allergies (I use toeat PB all the time) I cannot use jams or jellies sine I am allergic to most fruit...darn oral allergy syndrome whem most ppl are allergic by means of oral allergy syndrome they typically have GI symptoms...not me I have anaphalactic type issues. I stay clear of all fruits and veggies I have issues with and the longer I have had issues with that item the worse the reaction. But I am happy they can settle my belly [img]/community/emoticons/smile.gif[/img]

I am also a English muffin lover but I put a slice of processed cheese on them.  On a good day I do the egg, ham and cheese........but I pay for that one usually.;o)  I've never tried them with peanut butter but I'm always looking for new ways to try food.=o)
