Just an update, I had some inflamation symptoms return today, two and a half weeks without more than a few grams of sugar, but I also had MUCH more fiber yesterday than I'm used to, so that may have done it. plus, I'm 7 weeks 4 days past my last Remicade infusion so that could be it, too.
But my boss brought brownies today and I could not resist one tiny bite. You know what? It tasted so icky sweet I couldn't believe anyone could eat that!!!! I don't miss it at all. I made a pie Sunday using honey as the sweetener (as an experiment). It was a little odd, but really not bad.
Sugar still sucks.
