I know they do cause a bird had a flare up all over my car tongue tongue tongue

looks like the poor fellow needs some 6-mp and Asacol

I couldnt even get mad at the bird just had to giggle thinking been there done that.

I wonder if animals get IBD or IBS

Dogs and cats get IBD....just google dogs and cats with IBD.

Yes cats abd dogs have IBD I am lucky to have a cat with it, usually they can change the diet and be okay though

I used to keep parakeets, and sometimes those little fellas had diarrhea worse than me! Of course, birds don't have the same type of intestinal tract as mammals. I well remember the little ditty of childhood:

Birdie, birdie in the sky
Why'd you do that in my eye.
I won't holler, I won't cry.
I'm just glad that cows don't fly!

I'm sure we all had different versions, but having grown up around farms, I've been pooped or peed on by more animals than I care to count and am certainly glad for that truth.

When I was little, I once had a hamster that crapped himself to death! Bet I could almost give him a "run" for the money now!

bids in general have more of a watery consistancy to their stools, with the exception of seagulls, their poops look like my little dogs poops.

I think your right about the birds. Just wash your car or hang the sheets out on the line and see how many make use of them...

Rabbits can get really bad intestinal problems as well....in fact a few days of diarhea is all takes to do them in sometimes. Poor things.
Thanks for the birdie joke.....my poor 17 yr old daughter has been pooped on by birds more times than she can count....I think it's because she wears her hair up in a messy bun all the time....the birds figure they're just taking a poop in familiar territory.....what looks like a nest????

I just moved to Colorado and the local news had a story about bears in Aspen. They talked to one guy who had a bear in a fruit tree eating the berries. The tree was partly over his parked car and yep, the bear let loose with a BIG load on his car. Covered most of the hood with partly digested berries. Apparently bears s$#! in trees too, hee hee hee.

Other then a domesticated cat (prone to using a litterbox), I don't really think animals in general give a crap about where they crap, if they gotta go they go, quite natural of course, then you look at people who have the feeling to go and they'll hold it because they have to, usually because there's no toilet near by, so they wait until they are near a toilet...nice to have that ability (as I once had it, total bowel control) but not likely natural to do so...I bet cavemen crapped where ever and whenever they needed to.
