colonoscopy tomorrow

Finally, my colonoscopy is scheduled for tomorrow. If things go as I think they will, I'm betting my diagnosis will be changed from UC to Crohn's and I'll be joining all of you officially.

Nothing but clear liquids today and the phospho-soda fun starts at 3 p.m. Wish me luck.

Just want to wish you good luck.   Hope everything comes out ok (no pun intended).  Mine is scheduled for Oct 5 and I'm not looking forward to the prep, but am anxious to see the results.

I feel the pain.  Don't forget to clean your toilet.  (lol).  best of luck with the test.   I too, was diagnosed with u.c.  about  10 yrs.  then about 2 yrs ago was diagnosed with Chrohns.

Best of luck! I'm having another on Oct. 1. I hope you get some definitive answers. Will your doc be taking biopsies?

Good luck w/both prep and scope results. I'm overdue but just can't get any to enthused about scheduling. I had thought the new facility would be able to provide a CD/DVD of the procedure but it turns out they can't make copies and it would too large a file to e-mail so its back to video taping the monitor and then converting the video to CD/DVD. Somehow the letdown has taken all the interest and enthusiam in at least seeing for myself what is going on in there. I just need some motivation, I guess. I've been feeling pretty good and the thought of all the nausea w/the prep just turns me off.

The scope now days is nothing...You have they great twilight sleep. I am have my third this year on 9/25 , I get both ends since I have CD real bad and GERD. In the old days we had the old steel rod. You were on your hands and knees with your fanny up in the air and a round rod about two feet long was stuck up your fanny for a biopsy etc etc , god they hurt. Good luck on the findings, have the scope is nothing, you do not remember a thing...
