I suffered with this for about
3 years and the doctors didn't seem to know a thing about
what was causing it, subscribing all sorts of things, offering only temporary relief. Finally during a follow up visit with my Proctologist, I asked him about
it and he said I was probably hyper-sensitive to the toilet paper and to get a bidet. He said the paper is made from wood and it's no wonder. After a few more weeks of testing various brands and trying his alternate solution of Penaten Medicated Cream (also only offered temporary relief) I decided to take the plunge and try his suggestion. I had noticeable relief after only a day or two and in 3 days the 3-year itch was entirely gone. It's been two months now with no recurrence at all.The bidet is available on Amazon, takes about
5 minutes and a couple of basic tools to install and is incredibly easy to use. I know I will never go back and wonder how I would manage without it. I believe this is the obvious solution for many people with 'the itch". The bidet attachment looks and feels high quality, is not unsightly and is incredibly easy to use.
