I'm suffering really badly right now with ringing in the ears, or should I say noise. It seems the more unwell I feel. the louder
the noise gets. I know it's probably tinnitus, but was wondering why it gets so loud at times of sickness. Anyone else notice this?

I had that and went to my chiropracter and she adjusted me and it went away. Do you have a fever? Sometimes I get it with a fever or cold. Hope it goes away soon.

Are you dehydrated? you will have more ringing, be sure about
this. Are you hearing ringing or are you hearing your heart beat in your ears. If you can hear your heart beat in your ears that is a classic sign of a brain aneurism if so get to the ER so please be careful.

Hi, it's neither a ringing or a heartbeat. More like a cloak ticking, and it's more to the right than left. I don't think I'm dehydrated,
but I'm having more LLQ pain than usual..

You may have some sinus pressure causing the tubes in your ears to "click". Since a lot of us here have sinus problems with the CD and the drugs/disease that alters your mucous membranes you may want to consider seeing a ENT Doctor (Ears, Nose & Throat). I have occasional ringing & clicking. Usually prior to or during a sinus or ear infection or when my ears produce too much wax (yet another inherited thing). If you are having severe dizziness with nausea/vomiting or balance problems it could be a condition called vertigo which messes with the equilibrum of the inner ear.

You may be right. I'm having a bad case of the sweats tonight as well.

I'm tapering pred right now, I still have to wait until Oct.30th for my appt. to see anther crohn's specialist. So my gp asked
me to taper. My bowel is not behaving too badly, but the rest of my body is screaming. I actually never had such a bad time
weaning before. I don't know if I'm coming or going....

Earlier I had anemia. Blood levels at 8 someth. Then my ears got this ringing. My doc ment it could be because of the anemia. This was a year and a half ago. The ringing continued. It's still there.
Could be tinnitus. Dehydration?
Ingrid.
