How do you get rid of the bloating?

Week 6 on pentasa, entocort and xifaxan and still diarhea, no pain tough.  I have alot of bloating like I am 6 months pregnant.  It is especially bad at night.  I stop eating around 6pm and try and go to bed early to not feel so bloated.  Anything help with the bloating??? I hate this feeling!!

Fibre therapy daily and indefinitely, as suggested by my GI.

pb4 - what kind of fibres are within that therapy?

My GI told me to take Prodiem daily and indefinitely, it's similar to metamucil, I only need one pill/day and it's helped tremendously, not only with bloating and excessive gas but stopped my mucus (in combination with bee propolis) formed up my stools (sometimes when I wipe the TP is clean, no poop marks) and cut back on my frequency, instead of many trips to the can daily/nightly with little depostis I go less times (also in combination with bee propolis and probiotics and omegas 3-6-9) a day with larger deposits....and, I can tolerate eating fibreous foods without getting all gassy and bloated, I have my nice flat tummy back and because I work out I have fairly defined abs, not bad for being 40 with 2 kids eh.

hello nikki0294, my doc said to try any of the gas-x or phyzme and water and walking, these seem to help me- good luck and god bless us all who have any disease- mike

You might want to try yogurt.

Yes, probiotics can also be helpful with bloating.
