humira just started?????

 i have been on the humira for about a month and i am feeling great but i am also on 10mg off prednisone.they want to take me off the pred.just wondering if its the combination of both that is making me feel good.or if its actually the humira.and if i stop the pred will i get sick just using humira.thanks everyone for your support in the past!!!!!!

I was actually wondering something very similar to what your questioning. I started Humira 11 days ago but am also still taking Entocort. My doc wants to wean me off the Entocort slowly over next 3 months. I am feeling better and am wondering if it's the Humira alone or the combination of Humira and Entocort...and if I stop Entocort will I feel crappy (pardon the pun!) again. How long have you been on the Prednisone? I'm inclined to think that it's the Humira making me feel better because I have been taking the Entocort for several months now and although it helped with the inflammation and pain it didn't help with the loose bm's at all. Since beginning the Humira my bm's have decreased significantly and my abdominal pain is far less than it was before.
So I guess I don't have an answer to your question, sorry...seems like we're in the same boat...haha. How are you feeling since beginning the Humira?

       i have been feeling really good since the humira i have been on and off pred for about 5years.no other med.has woked for me just the pred.but so far so good with the hunira good luck to you
