Entocort (Busedonide) reaction?

I was started on Entocort last week, and noticed today that I have started coming up in a rash, like little red pin pricks all over my knees and which is now spreading, should I worry.

Some patients who are switched from pred to Entocort can develop a skin rash. Any skin rash, if associated with Entocort could either be mild and go away, or could be a sign of an allergic reaction. You should probably call your doc, just to keep him or her posted.

I recommend calling your doctor to let him/her know. This rash may be a sign of an allergic reaction, in which case you will need to stop the Entocort.

Google the word "petechia" or "petechiae." Is that what your rash is like?

I developed petechiae all over my ankles and feet from an allergic reaction to an antibiotic a few years ago. It went away a few days after stopping the antibiotic. But in rare cases it can get worse. That's why you need to let your doctor know.

I had a non-itchy rash all over except for my face the first couple times I took one. My gi seemed skeptical and I took one just before a visit to show him. Wouldn't you know--no rash and I've never had one since.
