mrsa ?????

I live in the area of ohio where they are having all these cases of mrsa around town and I recently developed a very painful boil on my thigh.Should I go to see my doctor tomorrow or should i try to wait it out.Am i just acting too paranoid?????I know they talk about if you have weakened immune systems or use steroids you should visit your doctor if you develop a boil.What do you guys think should i be worried and go get it checked????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I'd go have it looked at. Maybe just for the peace of mind..

wow, thanks for posting that. I hope it is nothing to serious!!! Might I ask was it a large boil? my son has some small pimples on the inside of his armpit and I can't decide if we should take him to the Dr. It seems to be getting better and he has had them before (Allergic child) They bumps don't hurt him. thanks! My son's rash turned out to be small warts. I forget the name. Yucky but not life threatening. I was glad... Karen
