I got a new job!

Hi all. I had been laid off a couple of months ago and moved from North Carolina to Colorado to look for a new life. I've been job hunting for a few weeks and had two interviews last week. I was offered and accepted a job this morning, woo hoo! I start next Monday and I will have insurance again in a month. I haven't seen any doctors and am running out of meds because COBRA was too expensive. I'm very glad I'll be among the insured again soon. My next goal is to move out from my friends basement, after I pay off a couple of bills. I'm lucky to have a friend who has been able to help me out during this time. Thanks to HW also for being supportive.

Congrats! Although it makes me mad that our health insurance is tied to our employment.

Well done, I hope your new life in Colorado will be wonderful.

Congrats on the new job. Maybe some of your luck will rub off on me because the factory i work at for 13 years closed up and have had luck in finding work. I'm feeling the 40's crunch it seems like no one wants to hire me LOL. Any how good luck too you, I'm glad someone here is getting some good luck in finding work.
