Anal fistula....'blood blisters'...

hi,,,,,,I had a procedure carried out 5 weeks ago to lay open an anal fistula and it seemed to be healing great for 3 weeks but since then I've had 3 (what I can best describe as ) blood blisters form. They swell and then burst discharging blood but no pus as far as I can see. Has anyone any experience of a similar thing? Been to the doc today and she says " it is part of the healing process" but I'm not convinced. Thanks

yes, sometimes they just bleed and don't drain anything else....

as for "the healing process" everyone is different. My fistulas have never gone away completely, after many years.
