Got refered to an Endorcrinologist............blood tests indicated a slightly higher than normal post-meal glucose and a insulin that was totally out of range..............

Perhaps this is the "new" thing that will keep me busy inbetween flare-cycles?

Or perhaps its just one more thing that will shave some more years off my life.............

Hi I am having to get blood sugar testing done too. I am on the pred. so will see how my test turn out .The only thing is I did not take my meds after getting the breakfast thing done Dr. never mentioned that I should so might get retested later. So what is the Dr. going to do to treat your sugar levels? I know we don't seem to need more stuff in the furnace but not much we can do sometimes to change things. I have cut back on my sweets for now and might have to take pills .Let us know what goes on with you. lol gail
