I have not had any symtoms for about
2 mn. I can't believe it. No bleeding no mucous, little cramping if any. I am on Colozal and fish oil. Do you think it would be ok to stop my medication or do you think I need to stay where I am at. It has been years since I have felt this good.

Why fix something that isn't broken. My personal opinion is stay on your meds. I tried getting off my Asacol at one point and ended up getting sick again. Won't do that again. Plus the Colozal is so mild its not going to do anything to you, in fact it might be why your in remission.

Stay on the meds. They are probably keeping you in remission. Colazal is probably one of the mildest drugs there is for this, and if that's all you need to stay in remission, you are very lucky indeed! I'm so glad to hear you're feeling well!

Yeh- it is interesting the the Colozal is doing it. I was on Azecol for a long tiem. Enotocort worked REally well but I had a miscarriage while on it and wanting to get preg. again. I also have a feeling the fish oil is playing a role. Do you thin though that sometimes the body just get better on it's own and then out of the blue gets sick again. I have been using the book the secret to to maintian thankfulness for my healthy body even when I have had symptoms. what do all of you think?
