I recently came in contact again with an ex-boyfriends sister. We have been talking a lot online lately and have a lot more in common now than we did in high school. I recently learned that her mother in law suffers from severe crohns and has a permanent ileo-stomy. Despite the severity of her disease she lived a crazy active life. I was inspired by how proud my friend was of her and hoped to someday meet her. I had asked her to pass on the message about
how much money I had raised last summer walking for the CCFA ($1150).
Anyways, I learned that this fellow crohnie died tragically a couple nights ago in a very bad car crash. She was air lifted to Boston but didn't survive. I am touched that her family has asked for donations in her name to the CCFA in lieu of flowers. It just shows how dedicated she was to helping others. Her family hopes the donations will help others the way she has helped many. I am not asking for donations, I have never met this woman, I just wanted to share her story and ask you to all keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Her name is Nancy Stewart.
