woops..did something stupid with methotrexate injection

i'm probably panicking for no reason but i just want to make sure.

i was having issues drawing out the methotrexate from the vial..the air in the vial kept sucking up the methotrexate in the needle. so i stupidly just took the needle out of the vial and blew out any air.

is it possible that i let the methotrexate get airborne..should i be concerned that my roomates might inhale any of this..

Sounds like you had a vacuum and it kept sucking the medication back into the vial? In the future, set the syring for the amount of mediction you need, push needle into vial, push that amount of air into the vial, then pull back to get medication. I hope I'm explaining this right, but you need to put some air into the vial, it's airtight, or you'll create a vacuum.
