 hi...I have been on entocort for a few days now and all I do is run to the bathroom to urinate....anyone else with this???

I'm not on any oral RX but find I have to pee alot too, especially when I'm out in public...so annoying especially since pooping was more of a major concern when out in public, now I have to pee all the time, oh well, better peeing than pooping.

I'm not on Entocort, but I do get pressure on my bladder when I feel bloated, especially before my period. Are your sure it's the entocort?

I was having this problem just last month during a flare up.  I had some hydration therapy at the hospital and oddly enough, I stopped having to pee every 5 seconds. Gained 6 pounds in 15 hours from all the IV fluids, but it actually stopped the frequent urination problem.   I'm on Entorcort, but I've been on it before, and have never noticed it causing this problem.   Are you having a lot of D?   Is it possible you're dehydrated?

That is the main problem I started with was peeing all the time. I could pee and five minutes later pee again like I hadn't even period in the last 3 hours.  It's always worse in the evenings and it's a pain to live with.  I wish you luck and if you find a trick or medicine that helps pass it along.  Good Luck.

Way2tired, I don't know if you're male or female. But for us males, there is a problem in that some drugs cause an enlarged prostate, and that causes an urge to frequently urinate.

Thanks everyone... ozonehole, I am female..... I don't have any D... I just starred the frequent urination so I just asumed it was the entocort, but maybe not. I guess it just goes with all of this. I've only known about crohns for two years so alot i'm still trying to figure out...everyone here has been helpful with all my questions,I'm so glad I found this site..

I have the same problem with frequent urination--sometimes as much as 8 times at night. During the day, I will go, go again 5-10 minutes later and then again soon. It's like the bladder doesn't empty all the way. It seemed to get to its worst while on the full dose of Entocort EC, but it is not much better now that I am on only 3 mg a day. I don't know what is causing it but am just dealing with it. Best wishes to you---it is a pain, for sure.

Frequent urination is a less common side effect of Entocort. Hope this frequency wears off for you.
