Anyone notice a difference in the weight of your BM?

OK, now this is going to sound crazy to some of you. If you think I'm crazy just look away. But, it seems like before I was dx'd with CD, my bm's would sit closer to the front of the toilet bottom. Now, they seem to go way back into the toilet channel and I can't even see them. I know it might sound sick, but since I need to look at them and see if there's blood/mucous, I noticed this.

I've never been on too much fiber so they've always fallen to the bottom of the toilet but now they seem extra heavy or something. Does that sound weird or is this something that goes along with CD?

I think it really depends on what you've eaten. I know when I eat fattier foods my stool tends to float. Just my 2 cents.

I've noticed that if I have lots of gas my stools seem to be lighter or I tend to have more "d" and less formed stools.

Willing to give this a go I just finished up amoxicillin and they are now down on the bottom before thay were floating for months so what difference the antobotics made I don't know but glad thay are solid again. lol gail

Isn't this peachy.....most people discuss wolrd politics, global warming, etc....we discuss floating and sinking poops!HA!

Well, maybe that's all it is - global warming! The water levels are lower so everything is sinking instead of floating!! :-)
