Hi there Summer.
I'm guessing this is the same as the lung function spirometry test I have.
If so, it's easy. You just have to take a deep breath in, and then breathe out through a mouthpiece attached to a machine, as hard, fast and for as long as you can. You do this about
3 times dpending how you feel after each breathe and what the results and your technique are like.
It can sometimes make you cough, but that's just from the effort you put in.
Hope it goes well!

Hey PFT's (pulminary function tests)are breathing tests you do there pretty simple just breath into a machine, take a few deep breaths and breath out for as long as you can, then deep breath in again, don't be afraid, there nothing.~ P.K>
