I have Transplant questions....

I am a 20 year old junior in college I was diagnosed when i was 1 yr old and i am going for my eval in like 2 weeks and will hopefully get listed soon. My main question is whether or not i will be able/allowed to travel once i am fully recovered. I know there are many restrictions on what they (the doctors) allow people to do after the transplant, like eating out and such, but i didn't know whether i will be allowed to go out of the country or not?

Hey there waooga, welcome to the forums.

As far as I understand it, I think there is a timeline after transplant, where you're not allowed to travel. But, after that I don't think there's such a problem. I think you will still need the stupidly high priced insurance to travel abroad though.
