yeah  Hello out there. I'm 29, my name is Shanna but I go by Blu. I have a 3 year old daughter, Sage. I'm in fairly good health, diabetic, under weight but overall hangin in there. I'm looking for alternatives to anitibiotic resistance and lung transplant. If anyone has any alternative meds, therapies, herbs that they have found helpful, especially with absorption please let me know. I live in remote mountains off the grid in northern Ca and rarely get to use a computer so if it seems like I've dropped off the face of the earth(which sometimes I do)as everyone should.. my snail mail is PO Box 117 Bridgeville, Ca 95526

Hi, I just had to reply because I don't find many other Moms with CF.  I have 2 daughters, Kaylyn who will be 3 in May, and Natalie who is just 8 weeks.  I got a bad infection while pregnant with Natalie, and I'm still bouncing back from that, but otherwise my health is pretty stable.  I'm having the same problem though, looking for alternative antibiotics and stuff.

nono  I 42 w/CF and I've got to tell you that there realy is no alternative. I've been battling this to long and searched for that "alternative" for ever. When my PFTs sunk to 18% I hade to have a transplant or die. So for my wife and son, I chose Transplant.

   So please, for your families; do what your doctors ask!
