CF?

The tv and the internet can be scary when you're feeling rubbish and looking for answers. Cf is a very big diagnosis and is a multi-organ genetic disease.

Normal people do get chest infections too, my Half-sister who doesn't have cf gets a lot of chest congestion and tonsilitus. Her dad does aswell though and he also doesn't have CF. There have also been some mega viruses going round which if you've had a runny nose too dose sound more viral than bacterial.

Just a random question also but do you spend anytime around smokers? As passive smoking can also cause inflammation in the airways causing increased mucus.

If you are worried the best person to speak to is your doctor who can run through your medical history, do tests and hopefully put your mind at rest.

I hope you feel better soon and that you're just having a rubbish few months with viruses. Take what you see on tv with a pinch of salt as normally their portrayal of diseases like CF is wrong and misguided anyway.
