I dont suffer from Cystic Fibrosis but my fiance John does. He is 22 and was told that he wouldnt live past his 21st birthday. I find it hard to deal with but put a brave face on around John. He is so brave and never lets it get him down.
We were speaking about having children the other day and we both would love kids. Does anyone here have any success stories. I have read up on it but still find it hard to understand what they do (IVF etc) Can anyone fill me in on this?
He is worried about the pain it would cause him etc and what if it didnt work. Do we have to pay for this or does the NHS cover it to a certain extent (im from Great Britain).
He has a chest infection at the moment but has antibiotics to treat it. He has his quartly hospital appointment soon so maybe they can give me some answers.
